(NVIDIA RIVA TNT2/TNT2 pro) nvidia driver problem

im have some troble with the nvidia driver that i downloaded for the nvidia we site. when ever im playing a large game like warcraft 3 the moniter will make little flashes that last for about a second and goes away. the flashes fill the whole screen and it does it simitaniusly so i dont know when its about to flash. ex: it could flash 2 times then go back to normal then 5 minutes later it well flash once. i downloaded the driver from this web site:

http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp

and the order of what i downloaded was: 1. graphics driver 2. GeForce and TNT2 3. Windows XP/2000. can u please tell me why it is flashing?

Is this something new that happens to your system?
