Hi,

Scenario is as follows: 3300 MCD 6.0 SP2 and NuPoint (can't remember software load but upgraded recently).

There are 8 ports between MCD and NuPoint and trunks on MCD is ISdN Pri (30 channels).

What the cuatomer want is that one of the DIDs be answered by a Call Director, and that another DID is answered by another call director. Is this possible?

The main reason of this requirement is that two companies are sharing 3300 and new point.

I have thougt of creating 2 separate incoming line groups and each DID to be directed to a different hunt group. The problem i think i'll have is that my 8 ports will be split between the two hunt groups.

Any ideas, must probable i'm not following correct aproach

Add two Nametag HG's in the 3300 and those are your two DID's. Those two are set to Always Reroute to Nupoint and the VM box for these two numbers are then answered by the individual Call Directors. This way you only need one line group in your Nupoint system.

Don't need or recommend Nametag Hunt groups.

Create a DN on your system to terminate the DID to. (Hunt groups are a fine choice as they do not use licensing or many resources.
Route the DN to VM
Create VM boxes and call directors associated with the DN's
Setup Call director as required.
