Nupoint with Call agent

Hi There,

Can someone help here? I am trying to setup auto attendant on our Nupoint utilizing the call agent software but with some difficulties.

I have created a line group with 2 ports assigned set it up as a nupoint voice and configured the agent config to point to call box 2009.

created call box 2009 and assigned options 1,2,3,4 and 5.

the problem i have is when i dial 1 of the line group ports i have created i get a ringing then the port answers then the system sends me 4 dtmf signals and cuts me off I dont get my greeting or options.

Any help would be greatful
 
I have not used the call agent software for auto attendant but you do not need it for that function. What type of integration are you using on the Nupoint, ons or dnic?
 
We have this working now but for 1 problem cannot access the callbox to record the greeting although we did manage this the very first time we can't now.

If you have a better way please advise pandabear
 
what is the number of your call agent? If you get into that mailbox try recording the greeting for that mbox.
 
call agent is a lot more configurable

you dont actually record the mbox greeting the callbox is a seperate entity associated to the mbox

the call cox dn is 2009 and it has and associated mbox 2009 you access the mailbox 2009 then dial * to access the call box then record your greetings but it is this bit that i can no longer access for some bizzare reason
 
Are you calling the line group that is set up as call agent, or the line group set up as receptionist? If you call the receptionist line group (the normal group) and press *, it is expecting you to login to the mailbox portion of the setup (then press * to login to the call agent box). Or if you are dialing the call agent line group you should be able to log directly in to the call agent portion of the box.

I initially setup the call box greeting via dialling it through the receptionist group, but now everytime i press the * when in the mailbox i just simply get i do not recognise that command.

If I dial the agent group i just get the same mailbox. sounds almost as if the system is breaking down or some hidden programming errors that i cannot see
