NuPoint Web Console Page Cannot Be Displayed 1

I've installed NuPointUM 3 and the latest MSL. Attached to the AMC and isntalled all blades. But when I click NuPoint Web Console, after a bit of a pause we get the standard Internet Explorer Page cannot be displayed.

I can access the MSL via the URL https:\\mitel-nupoint\server-manager so DNS is fine, but just no web console. This is the first time I've installed NuPoint so I'm a bit lost.

Try to access it via the IP and port. Also try replacing the // with \\'s

If you cannot access it via IP and port try to ping the controller and see if it responds.

Id it does not respond to a ping, trying pinging the DNS name for it.

If that responds with an IP try to connect it via that IP with the correct port.

Sometimes this can be a problem within the server- manager,

add nupoint address to host file windows/system32/drivers/

NYTALKIN is right however,
we had to use this directory
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

Guys, the Hosts file is redundant in this case.

The URL in the original post would fail unless DNS/Hosts were already working.

My guess is some obscure security setting in IE or cached pages or bad Windows Karma.

Any updates ROB?

Sorry I've been away on a break. Mitel100 gets the star, admin can be accessed via https:\\mitel-nupoint\npm-admin
