NuPointv15 on MASv4

I downloaded the recordings from /usr/vm/audio/store
see thread1329-1737604
But it's not a WAV file. How do I play this file?

It is a .vox file. You can play it with a application which supports .vox. I use NCH Switch Sound file convertor

I use Audacity to convert it by importing raw data, U-Law, No endianess, 1 Channel (Mono), 8000Hz
You can then export it whatever format you like.

@MitelAppie, NCH works
@Sarond, Audacity works.
thanks!

Let me explain my goal.
I try to export the VM recordings (to later on import them in MiCollab)

We have >100 VM boxes. As it looks like, a folder name is not a VM box.
I hear messages, which are for other boxes (the folder I was looking at, had the recording of a message only VM box)
So hard to findout which messages belongs to which VM box.
So I think I need DB access of some sort to find out what box is wat VOX file.

I think we let our users rerecord their message:)

I should have asked this first, although I think I already know the answer:
Does mitel provide a conversion tool for messages and/or settings for nupoint to micollab?

There are commands that can be performed at the root level to export MB structure and Greetings

There are several different methods depending on what you want to achieve

In my case, I was rebuilding all of the user mailboxes with Template creation via Active Directory Integration so I didn't care about those

What really mattered to me was the Call Flows and associated messaging

It took only minutes to transfer all of the call flows and greetings for a site with 700 users and around 50 call flows.

Worked flawlessly

hmm, sounds good.
So, AD integration in MiCollab, for Voicemail?
Can you explain a bit more, then I know what to ask next.

If you have used the Bulk User Import for creating users on Micollab then you are most of the way there to enable AD (IDS) integration

Integrated Directory Services (IDS) is enabled on all new MiCollab systems

IDS simply needs to be configured to pull the required information from the AD server (I say simple, but that depends on the skill of the AD admin)
