If a person dials an extension and gets that persons voicemail box greeting.... can they dial digits and back out of that mailbox before leaving a message and dial another ext. I have changed out a Nortel Meridian with Meridian Mail and you could dial an ext....get someones greeting and immediately dial "0 and another ext number and it would ring another ext. The customer wants the same option on Nupoint

I recently tried to find this out myself. Unfortunately I've forgotten more about the Nupoint than I remember.

I know it can be set to call another extension after leaving a message but I couldn't find a way before leaving message.

Not to say there isn't one. Hope someone else has a better answer.

If you want the customer to dial 0 to dial a pre-programmed number then this can be done. Set this option in the FCOS, sorry can't remember which number, then modify the mailbox to add the dialable number.

Looked through all FCOS and can't find one that helps me. Don't know what the features called to be able to back out of VM box so there is a possiblity I missed it
