I have about 40 standalone Nupoints to migrate to MiCollab. KWB you seems to have some knowledge here...…..I can't find any definitive documentation to support the options you posted a while back. Any suggestions where I can look? I've been all over the MiAccess docs and knowledge base. :
Option 1 No Mailboxes to User Association
Mailbox Passcodes Remain the Same
Greetings Restore
Names Restored
Saved Messages Restores
Call Director Boxes Restored
Record-A-Call Users Restored, Will not Work
Advanced Unified Messaging Users Restored, Will not Work
Standard Unified Messaging Users Restored

Option 2 Mailboxes are Associated to Users
Mailbox Passcodes will Default, NPM will force passcode change
Greetings Restored
Names Restored
Saved Messages Restores
Call Director Boxes Restored
Record-A-Call Users Restored
Advanced Unified Messaging Users Restored
Standard Unified Messaging Users Restored

Option 3 RAC, SMTP, Advanced Mailboxes are Associated to Users
Mailbox Passcodes will Default, NPM will force passcode change
Greetings Restored
Names Restored
Saved Messages Restores
Call Director Boxes Restored
Record-A-Call Users Restored
Advanced Unified Messaging Users Restored
Standard Unified Messaging Users Restored

I suppose you're entitled to your opinion, I'm just not going to suppose very hard.

Found the answer. There is a KMS article HO1745 that tells the whole process. It seems like quite a bit of work especially when restoring UM or RAC features. We might just start from scratch rather than try the process of migration.

we sort of did this with some on prem customer micollabs moved into micloud
- call director call flows were exported imported and their prompts identified and exported imported

users were told to start from scratch - sometimes there has to be a little pain to move forward

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

We have done the Nupoint to MiCollab migration in the lab. Any UM configuration doesn't restore as well as RAC. These have to be configured manually in the MiCollab. We have several very large instances that will require a lot of keyboard time to migrate. I was hoping someone had figured a way to shorten the pain.

If you are using AD and or have a list of the aliases, you can run a script to add them to all mailboxes. I have done this by exporting the users from MCD and getting the mailbox i.e extension and alias if same as login id. This isn't in the handbook but uses amodify with a slight different syntax for this attribute
