Nupoint Messenger 1

Yup,
We are still using Nupoint Messenger. Not sure which version.
We wants stats on how many times a Voice Mail Tree is used. How long a caller stays on the line listening to the greeting etc . . . Any clues on how to handle this?

I believe CallAgent/NuPoint agent will do that, but you need access to log into the server as well as the callbox you want stats for.
 
Please excuse my ignorance, but I just have Nupoint Messenger installed. I have never heard of or used CallAgent/Nupoint Agent. Is this a feature inside of Messenger?
By callbox, do you mean voice mailbox?

Yes, NuPoint Agent is an optional feature of Messenger. It's what lets you use callboxes, which is basically a mailbox normally used for menu functions. You most likely do have it, I've seen very few installations that did not include it, even if it's not actually being used. The easiest way to check the callbox is to log into the mailbox number of the greeting, then press * from the main mailbox menu. You will then be asked for the callbox passcode, the default is "0". From there just follow the prompts.
 
Ok, I have that. But where can I get stats on how many times the tree has been accessed?
 
You need to log into the NuPoint console port and turn it on is NuPoint Agent, it's not on by default.
 
Where do I turn the agent on? Via Nupoint Messenger CLI?
System Maintenance?
Sorry, I only have used some really basic Nupoint CLI commands like (c)Create Mailbox (L)List Maintenance and (M)Modify Mailbox, passcodes,system time, etc . . .
