NuPoint MAS as fax-only server

I have a customer that wants to upgrade/replace their 8-port RightFax server. I am taking this oppurtunity to try to get a NuPoint MAS in there with 6 fax ports (they want their new solution to be virtualized). They have an older VM system that the higher-ups do not want to replace (budget reasons), but I would like to try to sneak the NuPoint in as a fax server and then activate the VM features later on. Does this sound like a reasonable solution? Has anyone installed a NuPoint as a fax-only solution? Would I still have to provide voicemail box user licenses?

Not fax only but also with fax and yes you need vmb licenses and yu have to configure the linegroup for fax
