Nupoint MAS 3.0 (14.2) Issue with Delayed Voicemail

Hi All,

I am having reports from a customer of delayed voicemail messages. In the latest version the auto verify task appears to have been removed and Mitel suggest that it is now automatic every night?

Any one confirm that or had any issues?

Are you using Mitai MWI?
if so chech SUPERSET Callback Message Cancel Timer in the system options is set to 'blank' it is 24 by default

Also have you tried an offline verify recently?
if not I would suggest that you run this as OLV seems to correct this issue

Don't thnk the newest software allows off line verifies anymore. You only get the scheduled version.

I would investigate the reports a bit more as I have sometimes its can be a user issue. Check there FCOS is set for a message when they are in their mailbox and a new message arrives. Make sure they listen for the nupoint to say they have no unplayed before hanging up.

There used to be a knowledge base article on delayed message waiting and common things to check to eleminate users as the cause.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.
