We have a Nupoint Ip (11.0.5.12.01) that randomly cuts callers off while they are leaving a message. The system does not say "end of message" it disconnects the caller. The Nupoint is connected via IP to a 3300ICP (7.0.9.5) using a Cisco 6509 switch (the systems are side by side). The inbound trunking is provided via ISDN PRI on a NSU and the sets are TDM SS4025. This seems to only affect the Mail boxes in the 2000 range. We are doing a weakly off line verify.

Any suggestions ??

I would first upgrade the 3300 to the latest rel 9. A weekly o/l verify shouldn't be required (monthy at most).

Does it happen more to any certain callers? We saw a NuPoint a couple years ago over at Graybar that would consistently drop one specific (male) caller 5 out of 10 calls. The problem was diagnosed as "talk-off". The system was recognizing certain inflections in his voice as an end-of-msg command and would just stop recording and begin prompting him with the normal EOM options. I recall there was a trunk level problem at the caller's end (high level).
