Nupoint dialling external

Hi Guys

I have a site that has nupoint they are having an issue where the users can dial 0 to be tranfered to the operator, whats happening is they dial 0 ang just get the on hold music it will not transfer to the external number, the ext number it dials is a sysstem speedcall to a an 0800 number.

You can dial the 0800 number from any of the extensions on the 3300.Many Thanks

What is the functionality if you remove that speedcall and test?

The nupoint needs the capability to call the number and conference.

Set a phone to the same COR and COS of a VM port and then try the call.

What you are doing is having the Nupoint do a trunk to trunk transfer which may require additional COS options to be added to the Nupoint ports COS. If you allow this please review your system setup as you will now be opening up a huge security hole i.e allowing the Nupoint to take an incoming call and transferring it externally. You will need to make sure the COR of the Nupoint ports is strictly controlled in what it can dial.

The beatings will continue until morale improves.
