Nupoint csv import

Hi Guys,

got a MAS with nupoint, Ive imported a csv with all the names and numbers in to users and services but cant find a way to issue the nupoint service without going in to each one individually any help appreciated.

What MAS release. You need to add services with a template or role depending on your release. One configured the template or role then add that information to your import sheet. Delete everything that you have created and re-import your spreadsheet.

Hi, Thanks for reply, its a MAS 5, i tried setting up a template but had an issue when ticking the Include Nupoint unified messaging option, I assumed I have to tick the box which says use extn number for mailbox but this is greyed out so when I set the template on my import spreadsheet I get an error telling me I have to tick this box.

Yes that is the way that I do it. If that is not checked off it is probably erring out on creating the mailbox but not telling you.

In your template you need to check off "Include Primary phone". As soon as you check "Include primary phone" the "Use Extension Number for Mailbox " will ungrey and now you should be able to use the import to assign the mailboxes.

got there now thanks, didnt expect to have to include primary phone in users and services
