Nupoint Call Flow Dial-By-Name

When I dial the configured digit for Dial by name, the system does not prompt me to do anything.

If I dial a nume anyway, the call is not transfered

Eventually, the call transfers to the attandant.

Suggestions?

I remember on the old Nupoints you had to do a kind of a sync of the voicemails phone directory before it would work the first time ( gathers the names from the mailboxes ). Does the name directory report show the names or is that still in 15? Sorry its been a while and I realize this is pretty basic advice given your advanced knowledge.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.
 
What I did to test the DBN basic functions is to enable a digit at the voicememo layer via the dialling plan. When I access the voicemail via that method and press the digits, the DBN functions as expected.

It is only at the Call Flow level that things are not working.

I've rebooted and reactivated more times than I can mention.

Nothing helps.

unfortunately, my certs only go up to rel 14 so I can't call Mitel at the moment.

2 hours of updating my cerifications later

Called Mitel and this happens to be a minor bug.

In the call flow you have the option to define the language. By default the setting is Auto and should use the Line Group Language setting.

By setting the Call flow language to English(US) it is now working.

Mitel says this will be fixed in the next SP version of Nupoint.

I am specifically running Nupoint version 15.0.0.37.01

On a MAS version 4.0.26.0

Using MSL Version 9.4.20.0
