Hello. Hoping someone can help with a Time of Day routing setup with NuPoint Call Director. MAS 5.0.64.0 - NuPoint Voicemail 6.0

The objective is to go to 3 separate hours of operation i.e. Monday through Thursday - 8-5 Normal Call Director Menu structure. Closed On Friday with a New Menu structure and limited menu options. Finally, the typical Closed on Saturday and Sunday message. My struggle is that it does not appear to provide an option other than On/Off..meaning there is only 1 closed option for off hours? I thought Holiday might work but sadly that appears to be a month/day/year deal. What if I just put every Friday for the entire year in the schedule? A lot of work to be sure but all other avenues are exhausted. Any assistance on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

You can nest Schedules

You put the most restrictive Schedule First

e.g.
Saturday Sunday Schedule
...On - Do the Sat Sun stuff
...Off = Friday Schedule
............On = Friday Stuff
............Off = Mon to Thusday Schedule
..................... On = Normal Day Night Schedule
......................Off = Normal Night Schedule

Thank you kwbMitel! Now they want to also incorporate a half a dozen Holidays:/ Does that come first in this scenario then? OR Do I add the Holiday schedule to the first entry of Saturday/Sunday schedule?

Below is the menu structure that I built as I believe you outlined. Could you please give it a once over?
When I receive a Call...

Saturday_Sunday Schedule

Off-hours Friday Schedule
......Off-hours Monday_Thursday Schedule
..........Off-hours Closed Message
..........On-hours RA Main Menu Options
..............1 Russian Menu
..............2 Spanish Menu
..............3 WL Information System

On-hours Friday Limited Menu 8 to 5
.........5 Inspections
.........6 Landlord Services

On-hours Saturday/Sunday Closed Message

I defined the hours as follows:

Sat/Sun Schedule:
ON = as 12am to 11:59 p.m. at this time it is fortunately just a message indicating we are closed and it hangs up.
OFF = Friday Schedule with the hours the limited menu will be available 8 to 5 etc.

I then entered the Holidays in the same Sat/Sun Schedule? I'm not convinced that is done correctly? Thanks again kwbMitel!

If you want multiple Holiday Schedules then make that your first Schedule

For the Holiday Schedule you need to be careful to define the OFF schedule as the action taken if the holiday is active. Define your holiday dates under the holiday schedule as usual and leave the weekly schedule blank (on unless defined as holiday)

The Holiday Schedule flows to the Weekend Schedule when On

Weekend Schedule would be defined under the weekly schedule as ON for Sat and Sun from 12:01 am to 11:59 pm (I use 12:01 as I don't trust 12:00 but you can use 12:00 as long as you test it)

The Weekend Schedule Flows to the Friday Schedule when Off

Friday Schedule would be defined under the weekly schedule as ON for Friday only from 08:00am to 5:00pm

The Friday Schedule Flows to the Mon-Thur Schedule when Off

The Monday to Thursday Schedule would be defined under the weekly schedule as ON for Mon to Thur from ?? to ?? AND include Friday Hours as well from 08:00am to 05:00pm (Note: Friday should be included to make sure the system enters night mode at 5:00pm)

The Monday to Thursday Schedule Flows to the Standard Night Actions when Off

Short Form

Schedule 1 = Holiday On = Weekend Schedule
Schedule 1 = Holiday Off = Holiday Menu and actions

Schedule 2 = Weekend On = Weekend Menu and Actions
Schedule 2 = Weekend Off = Monday to Thursday Schedule

Schedule 3 = Friday On = Friday Menu and Actions
Schedule 3 = Friday Off = Monday to Thursday Schedule

Schedule 4 = Monday to Thursday On = Mon to Thur Menu and Actions
Schedule 4 = Monday to Friday Off = Monday to Friday Closed Menu and Actions

THANK YOU KWBMITEL[thumbsup2]
I greatly appreciate you taking the time to help me out! It all works well. I haven't rebuilt the Holidays into the structure yet. I didn't think I had done them correctly and you confirmed that. I'll give it go! Thanks again[bigsmile]
