Nupoint Blind transfer via Call Director

This hasn't been much of an issue for me to date, but more of an annoyance.

Call director does not actually do a true blind transfer when the blind transfer option is selected.

I've set all of my transfer strings to X+H to force the blind transfer but no joy

The caller does not hear ringback on transfer but instead hears music. This is a HUGE issue when transferring to an ACD queue.

I've heard there might be a setting that can be tweaked via the Nupoint Text Console.

Almost at the point of calling Mitel but I thought I'd try here first.

I hear ya, what I've been doing is to put VM in it's own tenant and using a ringback file for it's MOH.
 
Ok, I called Mitel.

There appears to be several issues with Blind Transfers depending on SW load and Configuration.

In my case, Nupoint Release 18.2.0.13 AND SIP trunking relates to issue 82013

There is a patch and it works.

I have a system (need to check version) spent several days testing patches the current works for most things, but if transferring to an external hd only extension it still has some pause. Either way, it really doesn't do a blind transfer per se
