We are looking at pushing out more of a tenant based system with several autoattendants beyond what EM can do. Aside from the NUPOINT, does anyone have any additional recommendations for vm servers? Thanks. rp

It really depends on what else you want to do with it. There's lots of VM boxes out there, it's a matter of finding one that fits your needs and budget.

We are mainly looking towards pushing some of our tenants to it. We want a system that can handle multiple tenants and accompanying MLAA and AA's. Also be able to handle more than the 30 ports on express messenger for many different RADs, company greetings, etc. rp

I agree you need to look at more than one vendor when making this magnitude of a decision. I'd suggest you take a look at Avaya. They have a new one either just released or coming soon. (Avaya bought Octel several years ago).

Would their system integrate with Mitel? We are running on 3300ICP platform. rp

Mitel has a Messaging Server (6510) that is very flexible for setup as you described.

The NVM is supposed to be very good at this as well but I havent worked on it since rel 7.0.

There is an island of opportunity in the middle of every difficulty.
Miss that though, and you're pretty much doomed!

Yes, the Avaya product interfaces transparently with the Mitel. (Full integration supported).

Not beating the drum, just want you to be sure to look at more than one so you know what your options are.

I agree with kwbmitel, the 6510 is very flexible which also does unified messaging including speak@ease for the latest release along with TTS for emails etc.A very powerful product.Again boils down to budget and needs!

The 6510 includes Speech Recognition, but is not the same as Speak@Ease.

Look for Speak@Ease to be re-incorporated into NuPoint 11.0
