Hello,

New Paradox user here; please forgive if question is answered elsewhere, but I did do a search for it first.

I am trying to stop a table from putting integer "100" after "9" instead of "99"....not sure how to fix this. Tried changing between "integer" and "general number" format...didn't work. Field is set for 3 digits and is in integer format. What am I missing?

Oh...using Paradox 10 by the way.

Thanks for any and all help/tips in advance!

I can't imagine why this is happening to you unless the field itself is not a numeric field type. You say it is in integer 'format', and that usually is an indication of a display setting rather than a field type.

When you right click the table and choose InfoStructure, what type of field does it say it is? I'm betting it says A 30 or something similar. Restructure and change it to N and see what happens.

Mac :)

Sorry to take so long to reply...your tip was just what I needed. Unfortunately I became VERY busy later that day and am still fighting my way out of the 'weeds.' Didn't mean to wait so long to reply.

Thanks again!
