Numeric Field Overflow

I'm importing an Excel spreadsheet into Access. I get the error: Numeric Field Overflow. Can anyone shed some light on this one for me please? Kevin

Check the data type of the Access field being filled. You may be trying to put a number into a field that has a limit set. Ex: putting a long into a field that is defined as an integer.

Thanks, I got it figured out late last night. You're right, I was trying to import a spreadsheet that had null values into a number field and it didn't like that. Kevin
