NumberVar limits

Crystal Reports 9 Adv.
NumberVar variables have only 15 decimal digits!
Is it really?

I've created formula "test":
numberVar x := 123456789012345.6789;
x

Runtime result for "test":
1 234 567 890 123 460.0000000000

But my customers requires
+999 999 999 999 999.99
format for numbers!

I've created too many CR reports in this project and I do not want remake all!

There was a similar but not exact issue in Crystal 8.
