Hello everyone!

Has anyone ever had this happen? I have a user that has tried running reports from several different databases.
(Although I believe that they both have the same back-end)

No numbers appear in the reports. There are several fields that display dates, and they just appear as " / / ". The fields that are complete numbers(like an item number) are completely blank, and then there are fields that display text & numbers, and what should be "Machine #1" only displays as "Machine #".

Also tried emailing the reports from her system, and they are still blank in the end result.

I have had several other users open the reports, and we can see all numbers fine. Resolution is the same. Field values are all set to visible.

Where should I even begin to look? As far as I know, this is just an issue with the Access Reports.
(A2K, W2K Professional)

Thanks,
Janel

I have been monitoring this question waiting for someone to help you with the answer as I don't have one for you. But, let's try something. Create a new database with a simple table. Populate the table with a few records making sure that ther are text, date, and numeric field types. Now create a report that displays these fields from the table.

Let's see if it is the particular database or is it the PC. This will be a starting point to solving this problem. Bob Scriver

scriverb,

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm pretty sure it's the cpu, since this is happening with several dbs, but they WERE all designed by someone else...So i'll go ahead and try doing a test db myself. I've placed in it an autonumber field, text field, and date fields formatted at short, medium, and long. I also did two reports, directly from the table, and one from the qry.

The user that is having the problem is out for the week, so I'll have her try the test one out when she gets back next week.

Thanks,
janel

Ok, I had the user test the database that I created and the numbers still do not show up for her on the report.

I have logged on to her system and everything shows fine for me. Am having a new local profile created and see what that does.

A new profile was created and everything now works okay!
