Numbering rows on a report (Newbie)

I am a beginner user and am building my first database.

I am looking for a way to keep up with employee seniority.
In a report I created a row counter using :

Running Sum - Overall
Control Source - =1

The problem that I am having is after row 99, it numbers everything E+0. Is there an easier way to do this, or am I going about it all wrong.

I think you just need to make the text box a little larger.
