I got a tip file from that showed a new way in v7 to format phone numbers and SSN etc. that did not require having two fields and masking one of them. This method involved using an auto-entered calculation using the NumberFormat function. I have tried the same thing with a blank database and NumberFormat does not even show as a valid function. Also, the option "Do not replace existing value for field" is checked and can not be removed. What am I missing???
