We 3 Mitel 3300MXs' on Rel. 7 (and 1 Nortel Meridian 1 on Rel 25) at our corporate offices and have a problem that has just come up in the last few days. We have been receiving calls to various employees where the CLID presented is within our own block of numbers and the caller is trying to pass themselves off as an employee trying to get info on current projects. My question is does anyone have any ideas on a way to block inbound calls from a specific block of numbers on the Mitel?

Equipment:
3300MX Rel. 7.1.6.10_1
3300 Universal NSU (PRI configuration)
Carrier is XO Communications

Thanks

Dale

The cure might be worse than the disease.

Just knowing this might be happening should be enough to make the customer wary.

Besides, even if you found a way to block it, they would invent another method to fool you.

The most intelligent link is the customer, tell them to use it or lose it.
