Hi,
I have designed a site for a client (all Flash), and when I first submitted it to Dmoz I achieved a no.1 rank on Google within a month of submitting the site. But now, only about two/three months later I have dropped down to around 30. Whats happened?? How do I keep my page ranking up on Google?? ( and how long does it take to get the number one ranks on other search engines?? (i.e. Yahoo, ninemsn, etc)
Thanks for your help
even if u point me towards some links that will help me understand would be great!

It's quite usual for a newly crawled site to rank quite high then to drop down the SERPs, but in all honesty your site isn't going to rank highly because search engines don't read flash files.
Google does index Flash files (.swf) but cannot read any text or follow links in them.

If you have some text content on a HTML page that will help. But as there is only the one page that the engines can see it has no real chance of really good rankings.
Your best option if the client wants to keep the flash and get good rankings is to have two versions, one HTML, one Flash and have links from the index page so visitors can choose either.
Really there are very few valid reasons for an all flash site. Even Macromedia took their all flash site down when visitor numbers dropped.

George,

You might want to also check out the site from a medical point of view.

After a quick look at your site, I would say that there is a good possibility that your navigation could trigger an epileptic seizure.

Hope this helps,

Wullie
