I am trying to figure out how to set the number of rings before the voicemail picks up.

I have a Nortel Networks, Meridian M39002/3/4 telephone.

Thanks in advance!

First check the RCO prompt on the TN. That RCO prompt correlates with the CFN prompt in your Customer Data Block. In LD 15 do a PRT and at type enter RDR_DATA. Then look for CFN0, 1 and 2. RCO 0 = CFN 0, RCO 1 = CFN 1, and RCO 2 = CFN 2. So, if CFN 0 is 2 under RDR_DATA and the phone is RCO 0 then after two rings your call should go to voicemail.

Sorry, but this isn't my phone and I have no idea where any of those things are located... How do I get to view/change them?

if all you have access to is the phone than there is nothing you can do.

Well then what do I need, I'm pretty sure I can get all of it...

The ring option is programmed at the telephone set, You need PBX administration rights to view/make changes in the phone system itself. Do you have access to the system?
