Hello,
Is there a way to determine the number of messages in voice-mail? We have a n Otpion 11 switch with CallPilot.
Thanks!

Your Call Pilot system comes with Reporter software. I believe it needs to be loaded on a separate server. There are several different types of reports available including a user usage/storage report.

The report is empty when I run it.
I tried to print vmb from ld 20 in the switch and got sch6307, the vm administrative block is not installed.

If you are talking about the number of messages in a particular mailbox you can see what % of the storage limit is used on each mailbox.

If you "have" to know how many messages are in a mailbox they don't make it hard to break into them while keeping the users PW intact.

Just find the user in the Call Pilot Administator software. Change their Extension to Auto-login and put their extension on a new phone. Call into "voicemail" just like you normally do but only from the new extension you just put on the phone.

The system sees that you are calling from the proper extension and gives you access. Once you are done you turn off auto-login and remove the extension on the phone you just called in from.

Since you never had to use a password it never changes the one the user had in the system and they aren't any the wiser. This also works on Meridian Mail.

Unless they have patched that recently it should still work. You can certainly hear how many messages are on the box once you are in...
