Is there a way to determine the number of mailboxes in an information store. I expected the number to be displayed at the top of the window, but it isn't.
Am I missing something?

Thanks

In ADUC, you can see the number of objects in the Users folder (or whichever holds your users).

or, also in ADUC, you right-click the Server, select Find, Selec 'Exchange Recipients' in the Find field, and filter down further to leave out Public folders etc.

In ESM, click mailboxes and export the list to Excel. That's the only way I know.

That was the other one, and that is also what I use, but I found that many find it a bit to much work to move the file of the server to a PC with Excel, and then look up the last row number and then deduct one for the heading to get the total ... ;-)

You don't have to run ESM on the server ...

I know, but most don't know, or don't bother ..
