number of download windows

i can have 2 download simultanously, and if i want to do the third download i can't. and it waits until one of them be closed and then the third one opens. how can i increase the number download which i can have? is there any setting in widnows or internet explorer to else where?

but i don't understand why Changing the maximum number of connections beyond two is a violation of Internet standards?
anybody knows?

Same reason using more than two fishing rods at one time is against the law in some places. (So you don't become a bandwidth hog)
