Designing a invoice layout off an sql-server.

Ran into problems when the need to convert a numeric field into a textfield came up.

Example value from database: 55

Desired result after conversion: Fiftyfive

And as if that wasn´t enough it has to be in polish language.

Please advise if anyone has come across a solution.

Towords is the function, but I doubt that you'll find support for this in Polish.

In English use the following formula:

left(towords({table.number}),instr(towords({table.number})," and ")-1)

You might write a formula to do this yourself, or perhaps even a series of Replace functions against the above formula.

You can use ToWords to find the amount in words in English. Then you could use that as input to another function using Replace to turn the English number-words into their Polish equivalent (grammer permitting). Madawc Williams
