Number format in excel

Is there a way to set up a calculated member in a cube so that I can force the format the users see when bringing data into excel. If I set the Format String property to ##.00, it appears fine in the cube viewer, but when I bring the data into excel, it doesn't stop with two places to the right of the decimal point.
