Hi,

I have a problem with what I believe is number corruption.

Previous fault was an ana, ext. which when dialled DDI, would not work, gave VACANT number, I prooved it was the number and not the extension, by killing the extension assigning a new equ to it and the old equ to a new number and the fault followed the number. Also killed and changed it from an EX to an ED and then back again no joy. In the end I assigned a new extnsion number to the user.

Oh and an SFCEI had no effect

I have the same fault back, now the differance is the new fault is a DIGI extension, and it is in a different LIM

any ideas?

program units ?

oh (both) the numbers worked internally and not externally and the numbers are in the DDI RANGE !

Those numbers may be assigned in number analysis in your system, but I'd be checking checking with your local service provider as to whether they have those numbers activated and routed to you correctly.......either that or you've forgotten (or mis-typed) a number conversion entry for these numbers.

Good luck,

Dave Strang

hI dAVE,
Ive checked the NUTRI, but its not that as nmbers either side work

i.e. 2096 fails, 2097 works

Just to be sure, SERV d5 is open for DDI trafic from public exchange ?

THANKXS ALL,
the number was not on the AXE exchange hence it was not routing anywhere

ta !
