Hello,

I have a an external number that is blocked. Whenever I dial the number I receive the message NUMBER BARRED. How do I unblock this number?

Thanks for your help.

Compare the values in the TRAF parameter for the route to which the external number is pointed, and the TRAF parameter for the category for the extension from which the external number is dialled.

If you use LCR, you'll need to compare the TOLL parameter for the external number entry (in whatever table it appears)and the TRAF parameter for the extension category. The bit in the TOLL parameter for the external number entry that matches the TCD value in TRAF for the extension must be set to "1" for the extension to dial the external number.

You may also need to verify that the extension and the route are allowed connection in the traffic matrix, but this is not likely the problem if the extension can dial other external numbers that traverse the same route.

Good luck,

Dave Strang

Hello,

I am not sure what a lot of these commands for TRAF and LCR are.

The previous admin blocked this number on the switch and I need to remove the block.

Is there a command to list blocked numbers and another to remove a blocked number?

Thanks again,

What number is blocked ?
And printout this:
NADAP;
LCDDP:TAB=NLT;
LCDDP:TAB=ENT;
LCDDP:TAB=DNT1;
LCDDP:TAB=DNT2;
EXCCP:CAT=ALL;

When I enter the command

LCDDP:TAB=DNT1;
LEAST COST DESTINATION DATA

EXCEPTIONS TABLE

ENTRY TRC PRE ACCT FRCT TOLL CBCS BTON TNS OSA

I get this line with the blocked number:

LCDDP:TAB=DNT1;
LEAST COST DESTINATION DATA

EXCEPTIONS TABLE

99785359920 1 0 1 000000000000000 0

Thanks again.

I figured out what I was looking for with your help.

LCDDE was what I was looking for.

My number is cleared.

Thanks
