Hi:

In my oracle server9.2
The num_rows field in dictionary table--dba_tables(or all_tables)did not return row count for some of the the tables and I knew that table has data(select count(*) from tbl1, return 100 rows).

Do you know why?Any way can fix it? Or any alternate table I can use instead of dba_tables?

Thanks!

Theresa

Hi,
Analyze the table(s) to generate the statistics needed to populate that field.
