Num Lock key turns off by itself

Our num lock key unclicks itself on our Dell computers at work. This happens about 20 times a day and it's very annoying! Is there some way to fix this?

What predicates the change? For a workaround you can enable Toggle Keys via the Accessibility Wizard that will make a beep every time Num Lock or Caps Lock is struck. Maybe that will help trace the behavior.

I personally cannot live without Toggle Keys. I am a ham-fisted typist and need it to warn me when I've hit Caps Lock. This prevents lookING UP AND SEEING ALL CAps...see???
