Hi,
I have now spent a few days trying to account for cases where I created a dist count measure, but which should not count a null as a dist count. This did nothing but leave me with a bad taste in my mouth, and the assumption that MS do not believe in creating a solution for this. It is obvious from my research on the net that I am by no means the only one with this problem, and the only solutions (even in SSAS 2005) are cowboy fixes.
That said - there is only one real world scenario in my case where a dimension attribute will cause such a problem. So my last remaining option would be to stop any slicing from that particular dimension attribute to the dist count measure. Can I stop the measure from being sliced by a particular dim attr?? And if so, how?
