Nulls Display as 0 When Exporting from CR 8.5 to Excel 2000

I have a cross-tab query in Crystal. Where there is no value in the crosstab, the cell is blank. When I export the Crystal Report into Excel the null values display as 0.

Is there a setting in Crystal or Excel that will keep the null values null and not convert them to 0?

Do you have the latest service pack installed?

They often address exporting.

As a work-round, use a formula field
if isnull ({your.field}) then " "
else totext({your.field})
