I am having diificulties with null values. When I change datasource locations for different report data, I run into a data display problem. If a query in access does not create any data for my report, none of the other data on the report populates like it should. If the field is left off of the report that contains a null value, the other data displays correctly. Are there settings in Access I can change to generate 0s when there is no data for the query? I have already changed settings in the report options, which didn't help. Any guidance would help a lot.
Thanks,

the easy way (though I never use it) is to default nulls to a particular value...say 0's for numeric and Blank space for nulls.

This is done by setting your default options and checking the box in Report Options.

Personally though I much rather deal with nulls individually since sometimes zeros have real meaning (eg. are included in an average whereas nulls would not be) also you might want nulls of different fields treated differently.....but that is just me :)

The quality of the answer is directly proportional to the quality of the problem statement!
