I am creating a report that counts the number of clients that were admitted to a program during certain date parameters. I want all records to return even null values but I can't seem to get any null values to print. I created a distinct count of the client's ID grouped within the AdmitReason which is the program. It is only returning records that contain a value. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

So you want a distinct count to return counts for all of the nulls and the real distinct values?

Please provide example data and expected output.

Crystal was written on the assumption that a null value should be ignored. You need to add logic, e.g. a formula saying something like
If isnull ({your.value}) then "Null"
else {your.value

Getting rid of nulls loses the valuable distinction between a known value of blank or zero and an unknown value.
