Null Date Function

Does anyone know of any reason why the simple command:

Msgbox Date

should work on one Form but not another? Surely this suggests that it is not a References problem? Perhaps a priority issue?

are you perhaps using date as a field name or control name somewhere on the form?

as problem solving see if now() works

Try msgbox nz(date). Nz returns on initialized value depending on the date type (eg "" for strings, 0 for integers, etc). As to why it isn't working, I don't know.

Thanks guys for your replies. I realised that I had a field named Date. Very strange though because it never seemed to be a problem in the past and started happening all of a sudden....
So Gol your assumption was correct.
