Hi all,

I have a site with Nu-point and they require the caller to have the option to dial 0 (or another number) to get the the operator if the caller does not want to leave a message.
I have tried various options in the FCOS but none of them will play the automated greeting when checked.

The user can dial 0 while leaving a message and it will go to the operator, however they would like the caller to have the option before the beep.

I am sure I have a combination of options selected that may be causing this.

Selecting "play press 0 before the beep" does not work as well as "play press 0 to return to NP attendant".

If it is not accepting digits during greeting look for an enabled option that prevents this. There is one but I don't remember the name.

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

If the caller is listening to the users mailbox greeting you only have the option to dial 0 or leave a message unless you setup the system to allow moving back through the menus using typically the # key. Where you go when you hit # is governed by how the line groups are setup.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.
