NTVDM: Illegal Instruction Error

We have a old clipper applicaiton written in clipper 5.2e with advantage database server 5.7 managing the dbf files on Netware server. Recently we migrated to Windows 2000 Server using only IP and we recompiled the application with new LIB for IP communication with out any errors. But while trying to run the application using a shortcut on our local machines we get "NTVDM: Illegal Instruction performed" error. Can anybody help with this problem?
