I have a network of 200+ clients and 6 servers all running Solaris 2.6. I have a cron
on each client that runs at night (ntpdate "NIS+servername" > /dev/null). I have been getting the following error for 3 weeks now and don't know why:

ntpdate: no server suitable for synchronization found

Does anyone have a generic /etc/inet/ntp.conf file that I can test to see if that's my problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

server ntp01xxxx.xxxx.xxx.
server ntp02xxxx.xxxx.xxx.
peer sun01xxxx

driftfile /var/ntp/ntp.drift

Thanks for the advice askewged. I tried using the info you supplied and still
get the same error.

ntpdate: no server suitable for synchronization found

I'm beginning to wonder if it's a network/router issue.
