NTP server configuration in solaris 8

Hi,

I want to configure NTP(Network time protocol) server in solaris 8.I tried to configure using ntp.conf file
I am not able to suceed.How to configure clients to my server.Please help me.

What and all need to be added in ntp.conf file for allowing clients

Copy /etc/inet/ntp.server to /etc/inet/ntp.conf and modify it to your requirements.

man xntpd for details on the configuration options.

well if you use this method....will you be using ntp or sntp? sorry newbi here.

whats the difference between NTP and SNTP?
