Greetings All.

I have to re enable a NTP server on CM 6.3. I have been told this causes a restart and needs a window to do this procedure. But in my lab testing on cm6.3 duplex. When I enable / disable it never ask me for a reboot? Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance.

Where are you doing this from , CM . SP , CLI ??

APSS (SME)
ACSS (SME)
ACIS (UC)

Do it tonight at 23:59:60 and blame the shoddy NTP client for the reboot [smile]

TBH, its usually the NTPD on System Platform that require the restart

Take Care

Matt
I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

Ah yes, system platform does force reset after re-enabling but not disabling. CM on vmware does not reset for either change.
