I would like to know if there is any option to poll
time synchronization data from an NTP server off the Internet for a Definity G3si switch. I believe we are
on version 9 of the software, and the switch does have
an IP address assigned to it.

Also (unrelated), our attendant console somehow waits
an extra 3 rings more than the 3 rings shown in the
coverage path. Is there someplace else I should be
looking to find this extra delay?

In DSA/ASA there is I believe a function to sync your switch to your PC-time. I am not sure if you can shedule this. If possible make sure your PC is synced to a NTP-server (there is a lot of software to be found on the internet) and schedule a task to sync the switch with the PC.

Look for your second question at "disp system coverage-forwarding" here you can change the number of rings that calls wait till going to the 2nd, 3rd and so on coverage points. It is one setting though.

Hope this helps..

John
