Hi all,

I just bought a new hard drive, and installed it as the master HD, and set the old one as the slave.
I am trying to install it on a Dell Dimension desktop PC.
I tried to install WinXP Home with Service pack 2. It looked like it was going to work fine, then came up the error that said. NTLDR is missing. There is no floppy disk in the drive, and i cannot get past this error. Any suggestions on what the exact problem is, and how exactly this can be fixed so I can finish loading XP?

Thanks Techies,

Jediwarrior

jediwarrior,
Try it with the slave drive disconnected.

Also, does the slave drive still have an OS on it? If so,what?

What size and type is the new drive?
