Hello there,

I receive a BSOD 'Process_Has_Locked_Pages'. When I run BlueScreenView, it reports that ntkrnlpa.exe is causing the error. What should I do to correct this as it happens often? I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate. I upgraded from Vista.

This happens sometimes when I'm on Youtube or MS Office. It's random.

Any assistance will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Chelsea

open up an elevated command prompt:

>>> Click on Start and type CMD in search bar, then press Ctrl+Shift+Enter

then run the following command:

SFC /SCANNOW

(have your Win7 DVD at hand, if prompted to insert it, then do so)

also I would suggest you use the hard-drive manufacturers tools to check the integrity of the HDD in use...

also run the Windows 7 memtest utility, just to be sure that RAM is in working order...

Check for RAM Error or Defect in Windows 7 and Vista with Windows Memory Diagnostic

What machine have you got Chelsea?

Have you gone to the website of the manufacturer and checked to see if there are any updates for the drivers for the PC?

See how many unsigned drivers you have running on your machine. This article will guide you on the instructions but all you have to do is type sigverif in Start Run.
