NTFS Ver. 5 Permissions Upgrade

Question:

We are going to upgrade our NT 4.0 File Server to NT2000 and was wondering after upgrading and moving the local groups back will the other RAID's will they automatically be upgraded to the new NTFS version? What effects will change if any?

No it does not upgrade to the NEW nfts version and the impact to security is not an issue

...by making sure at least Service Pack 4.0 is on the old NT4 box.
