If you can boot using an NT bootdisk, check the c:\winnt\system32\drivers folder for ntfs.sys. If it's actually missing or corrupt, copy it to a diskette from a good working machine to this machine.
Yesterday I had three NT4.0 Workstations go down with the same error 'Corrupt or missing: Windows\system32\ntfs.sys'. Today, I had an additional four follow suit. Anyone have any suggestions? Known viruses? Bugs in the server?
Let me add to my last submission that I had to re-image each system using our standard GHOST v6.5 image for that particular system (Dell GX110 - NT40 sp5). I'm afraid tomorrow there might be more. Our Virus scanner hasn't found anything out of the norm.
